Pay attention to the second sentence: “Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad says that those responsible for last week’s massacre of more than 100 people in Syria should be punished, in unusually harsh criticism from a staunch ally.”

See how subtle and surreptitious the propaganda is? The regime’s responsibility for the massacre is now so firmly established in consensus reality, that Ahmadinejad’s statement could only have been directed at the regime and not the armed opposition or al-Qaeda. Because anything other than this narrative is outside the realm of “common sense” and falls into the realm of “conspiracy theory”. So not only did the regime commit the massacre but now Iran is withdrawing support from it. Thanks for the double-barreled shot of disinformation mainstream media.
